Ways to save money when cruising: Don't buy the photo package if you're not really big into photos. Don't take any of the opportunities to have your photo taken by the ship photographer and you won't feel obliged to buy any photos If you are not a big drinker and just want to have 1 or 2 drinks just pay per drink. It might not be economical for you if you aren't going to drink the 15 drinks a day and it will be a waste of money If you really want to save money on a cruise buy travel insurance because if you are going to be lost or missed at a port and you have to find your own way home it will become really expensive. If anything goes wrong you will be out of pocket. It will cost you thousands of dollars to either get to the next port or get home.
