Welcome to Dunedin, New Zealand! The Norwegian Spirit has arrived and I've planned a full day excursion through the Taieri Gorge. I booked this 5-hour exclusive train ride directly through the cruise line as it was unavailable to be booked anywhere else and had a wonderful experience. From getting my own solo seat on the train with amazing views, the scenery passing us by, the wonderful commentary from the crew on the train, the boxed lunch provided and the thrill of slowly creeping along century-old viaducts and through multiple tunnels carved out of the rock and mountains, this was an incredible way to see the beauty and countryside of New Zealand!
