Nothing wrong with the old EMO Bullbar and brush bars/side steps but after fitting the Clearview power boards and the removal of the brush bars/side steps I got thinking.
Well, I did plan to free up airflow into the radiator area to help with air cooling of the trans oil cooler end everything that sits behind that (the front mont intercooler, the aircon condenser and the radiator).
So removing the lightforce spotlights and the ARB bullbar mounted solenoid controller for the winch was planned. It was just a matter of finding a bar that would keep that area free.
Plenty of options on the market but I chose this one with weight being a consideration together with aforementioned reason about airflow. After having the bar now for almost 6 months it has grown on me.
Yep, appreciate I have lost lots of protection from obstacles but in reality I'm unlikely to be towing the matrix caravan in that sort of terrain. And, if I do venture into rough terrain Im just going to have to be even more cognisant or lines I take (as I did recently in Tasmania).
