Today is Wednesday, May 14, 2025, and we’ve got important updates for those of you cruising soon — especially if you're sailing on the Grand Princess, enjoy the casino program, or rely on loyalty perks. 🚢 Grand Princess: We've been closely following the post-dry dock issues, and now we’re learning the ship may have come out in worse shape than when it went in — and that contractors may have caused some of the damage. I’m sharing the latest insight and what this might mean for future sailings. 🎰 Casino Updates: If you’re a casino cruiser with Princess, you’ll want to know about the huge jump in point requirements to earn those mini-suite perks — up from 20,000 to 50,000 points on some sailings! We’re also seeing limited operating hours due to Canadian waters now requiring 12 miles offshore for casino play. 🏅 Loyalty Limitations: Carnival just announced that some Diamond and Platinum guests won’t get all their loyalty perks on an upcoming sailing from Dover due to how many elites are onboard. We talk about what this could mean if cruise lines can't accommodate everyone at once — and how Princess has handled high loyalty levels so far.
