Our 1st Night on Virgin Voyages WEIRDED US OUT!!! | Embarkation Day pt. 2

In this week’s video, it’s night one of our anniversary cruise aboard Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady, and this is where things take a very unexpected turn. The evening starts off beautifully as we celebrate our 7-year wedding anniversary with a romantic dinner at The Wake, one of Virgin Voyages’ most popular specialty dining restaurants. From the service to the atmosphere, everything felt perfect as we reflected on how far we’ve come together over the years and soaked in the moment. But after dinner… things got weird. We attend one of Virgin Voyages’ highly talked-about dance party / immersive show experiences, and it was unlike anything we’ve ever seen on a cruise ship — and not necessarily in a good way. The performance was confusing, chaotic, and honestly stressful. We were completely lost, didn’t know what was happening, and felt weirded out the entire time. We’ve never been so uncomfortable at a cruise show before, and it’s safe to say we’d be perfectly fine never seeing it again. Once we changed into our PJs, the vibe completely shifted. The party was electric, full of energy, drinks were flowing, and everyone was dancing and having an amazing time. The pajama party was exactly what we needed to shake off the strange experience earlier in the night and end our first evening on a high note.
