P&O often find themselves at the centre of discussion around their onboard product, and a lot of that has to do with their up-charging strategy. Compared to other mass market cruise lines, P&O charge for casual dining and many onboard activities, even some entertainment. While P&O are a fantastic, solid cruise line, some of their up-charges are questionable but many people believe that the cost to get onboard a P&O cruise is always cheaper than the competition. Is that actually true?
In this short video, we'll compare P&O with its upmarket stablemate, Princess Cruises. Princess Cruises offers multiple fare levels with varying inclusions, but we'll examine (as fairly as we can) whether P&O really represents better value - at least in this specific case.
