What Not to do With your Child on a Royal Caribbean Cruise, but We Did it Anyway Mariner of the Seas

It’s Day 2 and our first sea day on Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas! After an eventful embarkation day, PJ and I (Phil) decide to sleep in a bit before heading up to the Lido Deck for some classic cruise fun in the sun 🌞. We kick things off watching the hilarious Belly Flop Contest and doing some swimming of our own. Later that evening, it’s Formal Night, so the fellas and I clean up nice and enjoy another funny, laid-back dinner together before heading to a Broadway-style show with some incredible singing and dancing. But then things take a turn… 😂 After the show (and a few cocktails), we stop by the Finish the Lyric Game Show in the Star Lounge — and then decide to check out the nightclub on Deck 14. Here’s the catch: we’ve got PJ with us! 😅 So we come up with a “genius dad plan” — we take turns watching PJ while the rest of us go inside to dance and party. The music was bumpin’, everyone was having fun, and yes… even PJ had a blast outside the club! Let’s just say our wives would NOT approve of this one.
