Enjoy this Azamara Pursuit ship tour, filmed in Sydney, Australia. It explores the restaurants, specialty dining, bars, pool, gym, spa, theatre, buffet and more on this luxury cruise line. A full Azamara Cruises walkthrough!
This Azamara Pursuit tour focuses on the public spaces, dining venues and facilities across the decks, giving you a clear sense of how this boutique luxury cruise ship is arranged and what you can expect on board. The visit took place while the vessel was in Sydney, offering a chance to explore the layout, ambience and design without sailing.
Azamara Pursuit is known for its mid‑sized scale, Destination Immersion philosophy and relaxed premium atmosphere, and this walkthrough highlights the areas guests spend the most time in.
The tour begins on Deck 4, where guest relations, the concierge and the central staircase set the tone for the décor and style used throughout the ship. The remainder of this level is dedicated to cabins, which sit across several decks but are not shown in this video.
Deck 5 brings together the commercial spaces, including the Photo Shop, Pursuit Shop and Indulgences, alongside Mosaic Café and The Den. These areas act as social hubs, offering coffee, drinks and a comfortable place to relax while watching the harbour outside.
At the stern of Deck 5 you’ll find Discoveries Restaurant, the main à la carte dining venue on Azamara Pursuit. The Cabaret Lounge sits forward, using lounge seating rather than tiered rows to create a more intimate setting for live music and evening shows. The design across this level is bright, spacious and refined, with plenty of seating and a warm, premium feel.
Decks 6, 7 and 8 are accommodation levels, so the tour continues on Deck 9. Windows Café is the buffet restaurant, offering indoor seating and an outdoor sunset veranda. The food selection includes premium meats and seafood, and a more refined approach than many larger cruise lines.
The pool deck sits mid‑ship, with The Patio, Swirl & Top, hot tubs, rows of sunlounges and the pool bar creating a relaxed outdoor space. Towards the bow, The Sanctum Spa and the fitness centre gym offer wellness facilities, including a small hot tub overlooking the ocean.
Deck 10 includes Aqualina and Prime C steakhouse, the specialty dining restaurants, as well as The Drawing Room, a library‑style lounge used for events and live music. The Living Room sits forward with views over the bow, and a card room is located nearby. Deck 11 is the sun deck, where the event I attended was held as Azamara Pursuit met sister ship Azamara Onward in Sydney Harbour. Other Azamara cruises with a similar layout include Quest and Journey.
This video is part of my broader cruise ship tour series, and a full Azamara Pursuit review will follow once I have sailed on the ship. You’ll also find other cruise reviews, specialty dining guides and destination content on the channel.
