MSC World America Day 6 | Gloomy Sea Day, White Night Party & Surprise Celebrity Shoot!

Gloomy sea day on MSC World America with trivia, pub vibes, White Night, and a surprise celebrity commercial shoot featuring Orlando Bloom and Drew Barrymore. Day 6 cruise vlog. Day Six aboard MSC World America brought another round of cloudy skies, but we still found plenty to enjoy. From trivia and live music to a stunning specialty dinner and MSC’s iconic White Night Party, this sea day had a little bit of everything, including a surprise celebrity twist we didn’t learn about until later. ☕ Slow, Cozy Start to a Gloomy Sea Day We eased into the morning with coffee and a late breakfast in the cabin before heading out to see what the weather was doing. Another grey day, but that’s cruising, you roll with it. 🎉 Trivia at La Dolce Vita Bar With the weather keeping everyone indoors, we wandered to the La Dolce Vita Bar for trivia. Always a fun way to pass time and meet fellow cruisers. 🍽️ Lunch Chaos at the Buffet The buffet had just been picked over by the masses, which meant it was busy. Crowds everywhere, lots of energy, and barely a quick bite before escaping the madness. 🍺 Chill Afternoon at the Pub We found our happy place at the pub with a cold beer, an amazing guitarist, and the perfect relaxed vibe for a gloomy sea day. 🚫 World Promenade Closed for a Secret Commercial Shoot? One of our favourite spots on MSC World America, the World Promenade at the aft, was completely closed off. We didn’t know why at the time, but later learned they were filming a commercial featuring Orlando Bloom and Drew Barrymore. They boarded in Mexico and disembarked in 2 days at Ocean Cay. Could’ve been an exciting celeb sighting… but we didn’t catch a glimpse of anyone. 🍝 Magnificent Dinner at the Italian Specialty Restaurant EATALY! Dinner was a highlight! A fantastic Italian meal that absolutely delivered. MSC’s specialty dining continues to impress. 🤍 MSC White Night Party White Night is huge on MSC Cruises. The pool deck was packed with guests dressed head‑to‑toe in white… except me, the rebel in black. The energy was electric and the turnout massive. We enjoyed the spectacle from a distance before heading somewhere more our speed. 🎹 Ending the Night with Duelling Pianos We wrapped up the evening at the duelling piano lounge, cozy, musical, and the perfect way to wind down before hoping for sunshine at Ocean Cay the next morning.
