Boarding Pacific Adventure - Tasmania Cruise December 2024

In December 2024, we cruised onboard the P&O Pacific Adventure to Tasmania. This was our first time on the Pacific Adventure (now renamed the Carnival Adventure). As usual, we stayed in Sydney the night before the cruise to avoid any delays or problems getting to Sydney from Maitland on the day of the cruise. There have been so many Rail strikes, climate protests and Trackwork causing delays in the past that we have decided it's not worth the risk of missing the cruise. This time, we stayed at the Great Southern Hotel near Central Station - see our Room review video - which is a great place to stay: https://youtu.be/kNiolelrepo We had booked an obstructed room on board the Pacific Adventure and knew there was a chance that the view might be totally blocked. Usually, this sort of Russian Room Roulette has worked out, but this time, the view was almost totally blocked by a Tender boat.
