11-Day Panama Canal Cruise: We Never Got Bored Once!

You get 4 total at-sea days and 6 port of call days including Georgetown, Grand Cayman, Cartegena, Columbia, the Panama Canal and Colon, Port of Gamboa, and Port of Balboa, Panama, Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, Harvest Caye, Belize, and Cozumel, Mexico. We are proud to be one of the members of a relatively small group of people who have transited the entire Panama Canal. The NCL entered the Panama Canal from the Caribbean and went through the Gatun Locks into Gatun Lake. They dropped us off while anchored in Gatun Lake. We went to the Port of Gamboa to board our excursion ferry. This ferry took us from the Port of Gamboa all the way to the Port of Gamboa adjacent to Panama City, Panama on the Pacific side. In the meantime, the NCL Gem turned around and went back west out of the Gatun Locks to the Caribbean Sea where they stopped in Colon, Panama. We joined the Gem that night after a bus ride took us from the Port of Balboa to Colon.
