In this video, I’m breaking down the newest policy shift from Royal Caribbean International. For years, the Coca-Cola souvenir cup was a staple of the premium beverage packages, giving you unlimited access to the Freestyle machines.
Here is what you need to know:
The New Fee: If you have the Deluxe Beverage Package or the Royal Refreshment Package, you now have to pay a one-time fee of $4.99 to get the cup and access the machines.
The Loophole: If you booked your package on or before March 15, 2026, you are grandfathered in! I’ll show you how to confirm this.
The Exception: The "Classic Soda Package" still includes the cup... for now.
The "Why": Is this about sustainability and reducing plastic waste, or is it just another way to "nickel and dime" passengers?
I’ll help you decide if that $4.99 is worth it for your family or if you should stick to getting your soda from the bars (which is still included in your package!).
