This is my review of the aqua class veranda balcony cabin on the Celebrity Equinox, a Solstice class cruise ship, launched in 2009 and refurbished in 2019. Its sister ships in the same class are Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Silhouette and Celebrity Reflection. This stateroom is room 1638 on deck 11 of Celebrity Equinox.
You might be wondering what is the difference between a regular balcony or veranda stateroom and an aqua class one? The perks are things like bath robes, a beach tote, and an upgraded shower. WIth aqua class you also get access to the Persian garden spa and can dine in Blu, a dedicated dining room for Aqua class guests.
One of the things I love about the balcony on the Celebrity Equinox and other Solstice class ships is that its quite big and has both reclinable chairs, as well as foot stools and a drinks table. It's a really nice place to hang out and relax as you watch the ocean drift by.
