Even though the room steward thought we were deceased, it was a well learned lesson in perception. Make contact with your room steward even if you do not need anything from them. This contact would have helped in thwarting security from searching us out. When they do not see you for a number of days and you have the snoozing sign on your door, respectfully they will not enter. But unfortunately, people do pass away on board so they are just checking to see that you are alive lol. I hope you got a laugh from this.
