Marella Discovery Caribbean Cruise | St Lucia Day 2 | Exotic Islands 2025

Hi everyone, In this week's Marella Discovery Exotic Islands Caribbean cruise series we arrive in beautiful St Lucia! We had an excursion booked through #marellacruises this was the Pigeon Island and Pitons half day experience. We quickly had breakfast at Islands, had a walk out onto the top deck of the ship to take in the sights and it was then time for our trip. This was a catamaran excursion and it was our very first one! Our guide and the crew were very friendly and knowledgeable and we learnt a lot of information as we made our way to Pigeon Island. We had an hour here and decided to stay near the beach and to go to the bar to try the Piton beer. We then got back on the catamaran, had some lunch and made our way to a secluded bay where Dane snorkels for a little while. We were then on our way to see the Pitons, this was amazing and we are so glad we chose this trip! On the way back to the ship we had music on and rum punch and it was such a fun time! We loved this! Once back on board Marella Discovery we realised we had got a little (a lot) burnt, we put sun cream on but that Caribbean sun is something else! We have a panini in the Glass House and go back to the cabin to freshen up a little bit. We then go to the pool deck to relax with a drink and look through the cruise news to get some ideas for the night ahead. We get a drink from the Atrium bar before going back to the cabin to get ready for the night. We decided to go to the Italian MDR this night Gallery 47, the table wasn't quite ready so we got a buzzer and went back to the Atrium Bar while we waited. We also got some photos with the llama \ alpaca. Once we got into the restaurant we were very happy with our table as we weren't too close to other tables. We loved our meal in here, really enjoyed the food and talking with our waiter Kevin. After the meal we had a quick look in at the game show in the Squid and Anchor and then went to the Broadway Show Lounge to watch the comedian magician John Danbury. We were going to go to the silent disco but unfortunately there were no headphones left when we arrived but thankfully we had another chance later into the cruise. We had a walk round outside on the deck and got late night food at the Glass House before calling it a night as the jet lag had caught up with us! We had a fantastic day in #saintlucia and would love to return! We can't wait to share more of the #cruisevlogs with you!
