KC and the Sunshine Band is an American disco and funk band that was formed back in 1973 in Hialeah, Florida, USA by Harry Wayne Casey (KC) and Richard Finch.
KC was born in Hialeah, Florida in January 1951. He was a record store employee and part timer employee at TK Records in Hialeah.
Their band was originally called KC & The Sunshine Junkanoo Band, because KC used studio musicians from TK and a local Junkanoo band called the Miami Junkanoo Band. During this time, Richard Finch was engineering records for TK, which is how they all met to begin their musical collaboration. The Band was then joined by guitarist Jerome Smith and drummer Robert Johnson, who were also TK studio musicians.
They have some great songs that still sound good when heard today, such as:
"Get Down Tonight"
"That's the Way (I Like It)"
"(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty"
"I'm Your Boogie Man"
"Keep It Comin' Love"
"Boogie Shoes"
"Please Don't Go"
"Give It Up"
Here we have "Keep It Comin' Love" on Remix to us cruising along the amazing Brisbane River in the Queensland Capital City, Brisbane
