In today’s video, I would like to tell you about some crazy Cruise news, some good Cruise news, and seven things that you could do that could get you put off the ship in the next port.
But first in Cruise news in the death of Anna Kepner, the FBI has named her stepbrother the prime suspect yet no arrests have been made. I will keep you posted as further developments arise. And I also want to talk to you about Michael Virgil, and his situation and how it relates to The seven topics we’re going to discuss today. Michael Vergil passed away on a cruise over the summer while in custody. His family is suing the Cruise line stating that he was served 33 alcoholic drinks prior to them, even leaving the dock. This resulted in aggressive and intoxicating behavior in which he was later subdued by security. And now you will see how these relate.
Cruising is fun but cruise lines take their rules very seriously so let’s all have a good time and abide by the rules because not following these rules can get you either put off in the next port, locked in the ships jail, or in cabin lockdown where a security guard is posted outside your room and you cannot leave.
1. getting excessively intoxicated.
2. aggressive behavior.
3. Smoking and undesignated areas.
4. Disrupting crew and refusing safety instructions.
5. Do not bring any illegal substances on board… Zero tolerance.
6. Stealing.
7. Do not throw anything overboard.
Hopefully, you have a good Cruise sense of humor as I relate a few funny stories from a dead bird on the balcony to not going to a mustard drill. Please respect the crew. They are only doing their jobs and enjoy your cruise to the max. I hope you find these tips, helpful, and enjoyable
Also, we talk about news from MSC and their new frontier class ships, the opening of the Royal Beach club in Nassau Bahamas from Royal Caribbean, and Carnival‘s redemption tour with their new drink packages. I look forward to seeing you on deck and I hope you will comment below and let me know if these packages will steer you towards booking any particular cruise line .
Can’t wait to go live when I visit the Royal Beach club in Nassau. Look for that on my TOK acct.
