This wasn’t your average Sunday sailaway. It was Vancouver Harbour in full-on action mode.
In this short reel, we capture the triple departure of Celebrity Solstice, Holland America’s Noordam, and Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas — all leaving Vancouver within minutes of each other on a spectacular summer afternoon.
But the ships weren’t alone. With seaplanes buzzing overhead, cargo ships and tankers cruising through, and ferries weaving in and out, the harbour was a real-life game of choreography — and somehow, everything flowed seamlessly.
Solstice was the first to push off, shimmering under the afternoon sun. Noordam wasn’t far behind, gliding out with elegance and barely a wake. Serenade waited her turn, letting the traffic clear before she powered into the main channel, giving one last wave to the city before setting course for open water.
This is the kind of big ship meets big city energy that cruise lovers and harbour watchers dream about — where every corner of the frame is alive with movement and scale.
Shot from a prime waterfront vantage point, this reel captures the tempo of summer in Vancouver — cruise ships, marine traffic, mountain views, and the sun lighting up the whole scene.
