It's day 5 of our Princess Cruises cruise tour and it's time to embark our 7 night Alaska cruise. Join us as we leave Mt McKinley Princess Lodge and take the Alaska Railroad from Talkeetna to Whittier on a direct to the wilderness train. After a 7 hour train journey we arrive in Whittier and embark the beautiful Sapphire Princess for one of her last Alaska sailings.
We visited Denali in late August 2025 as part of an 11-night Princess Cruises cruisetour. Our cruisetour started in Fairbanks before moving to Denali and then onto Mt McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, before we took the Alaska railroad to Whittier where we joined Sapphire Princess for a 7 night Southbound cruise to Vancouver, visiting:
- Hubbard Glacier;
- Glacier Bay National Park;
- Skagway;
- Juneau; and
- Ketchikan
