Today @diazondecktravel I reveal some of the different things that will be on this new Icon ship THE LEGEND OF THE SEAS. The LEGEND OF THE SEAS will be the largest cruise ship in the world and will make her debut summer 2026 in the Mediterranean sailing from Barcelona and Rome. Then her transatlantic journey will start her winter season in the Caribbean.
The Caribbean sailings will be a 6 night Western Caribbean itinerary and the 8 night itinerary will be Southern Caribbean.
This is unprecedented as Star of the Seas will be the first of her class to not only sail the Mediterranean, but it will be the first of this class to sail a Southern Caribbean itinerary to include Aruba and Curaçao.
There will be new dinning options including the Hollywoodland supper club, the railway experience and even a juice bar in the Aquadome.
The all immersive railway experience will take you along the Silk Trails and will be serving Asian Cuisine. This railway experience will be the first of its kind on this class of ship, not seen anywhere since Utopia where it first premiered.
It has not yet been revealed if the juice bar will have an upcharge as the supper club and railway experience do..stay tuned.
Legend will introduce 2 new stateroom categories…the FAMILY OCEAN VIEW BALCONY with bunk beds and the infinite veranda. The infinite balcony came with a little criticism but hopefully this addition will be more appeasing.
The carousel and miniature golf course will be getting a redesign for a new look. Can’t wait to see that.
The entertainment will be top notch with the broadway style show CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. Can’t wait to see that. I have not seen any of the recent productions of this show. I’m a WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY GENE WILDER kinda girl so this should be interesting.
