So how does a back-to-back cruise actually work?
🛳️↔️🛳️
First, you meet in your designated area (ours was the Main Dining Room on Deck 5 of Icon of the Seas). Here they check you in, snap a new picture, and hand you your fresh Sail & Sign cards. ✅
While you wait, you can grab some coffee and pastries before a rep comes out to explain the whole process. Then the group gets lined up and escorted off the ship. You scan your old card (they collect it), head through the gangway, and walk through the terminal… no luggage needed since your stateroom attendant handles it if you’re changing cabins.
Next, you clear customs and facial recognition, and once you’re called back, you head through the gangway again. This time you scan your new card… and just like that, you’re back onboard ready to start all over again!
It’s a simple process, but knowing the steps makes it smooth and stress-free.
