Cruise Ship Breaks Free in Wild Weather in Juneau, Alaska 6/16/25. Story by passenger onboard ship.

We were onboard the Celebrity Edge when a freak storm hit Juneau, Alaska and filmed one perspective from our balcony on Deck 11 of the chaos. In this video I attempt to make a compilation of the events and describe what I know of what happened. In the following days, the captain of our ship, The Celebrity Edge, spoke with passengers during various onboard events. He was very transparent on the steps taken to keep all crew and passengers safe. His discussions were very assuring that not only were the crew fully drilled and prepared for this type of situation - but the communication and coordination between ships in the harbor was amazing!
