Norwegian Breakaway | Mediterranean Cruise Day 10 | Palma | Catedral de Santa María | La Cucina

Welcome to Day 10 of our 11 day holiday on board Norwegian Cruise Line's Breakaway cruise ship! We're Bob and Moose, a couple of Disney-obsessed adventurers from Yorkshire, UK, who just love to get out and about and explore! 👀 On the cruise, we travelled to: Cannes, Livorno (Florence), Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples (Pompeii), Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca. We started and ended the trip in the stunning city of Barcelona! On Day 10, we started the day (as usual) with breakfast at the Garden Cafe buffet. We have enjoyed eating there so much on this holiday! We decided to walk into the centre of Palma today, so enjoyed an hour long walk from the port area to the centre, where we were aiming for the Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca. We bought tickets to access the inside of the cathedral and the terrace, so spent some time exploring the interior before climbing the 200 steps to the 'roof'! Up there, we saw the most amazing views of Palma. After climbing down again, we looked around the museum, but this was quite small so we ventured outside again and (of course!) bought some gelato 🍦, which we enjoyed on the walk back to the port. Once back on board, we took part in 'Wizard's Trivia' and the 'Brain Race' and then ate in La Cucina again. This was a last minute booking following our dinner there the night before, and we highly recommend eating here! In the evening, we decided to purchase late checkout for the next day, and then packed our cases in the cabin. As there was not much on on this evening, we stayed in our cabin for the rest of the night and enjoyed our balcony!
