Double cruise ship departures! Norwegian Escape and MSC Meraviglia at New York Harbor 2-23-25

On February 23, 2025, our New York Harbor lived up to its nickname of "Cruise ship central" as we saw 3 cruise ships: Odyssey of the Seas, MSC Meraviglia, and Norwegian Escape. Our 3 winter warriors who are currently calling New York "home", each ship visits once a week for the day, before setting off to warmer destinations! This evening, we got to see MSC Meraviglia depart and spin around by the Statue of Liberty and at the same time, the Norwegian Escape came into view after she departed from Manhattan, so we had a great cruise ship 2fer on the camera! We don't see this happen very often with departures, but we see this more with the early morning cruise ship arrivals! Adding to the excitement of the cruise ship 2fer was the beginning of another great New York Harbor sunset!
