Cunard's History displayed, a beautiful model of Queen Elizabeth (1940 )

A wonderful large model of the elegant Ocean Liner Queen Elizabeth showing her classic profile. This model was photographed in 2019 on display in the Yacht Club on the current Queen Elizabeth built in 2010. sadly this model has been replaced with a model of the current Queen Elizabeth. Originally in this position there was a solid Silver model of Queen Elizabeth 2 which was returned to the QE2 Hotel in Dubai where it's now on display. It's Interesting to look at the detail of this model, it looks like the stern deck was altered on the original model to show the swimming pool that was added in the refit of 1965. notice the lighter colour deck showing compared to the darker deck colour of the original model.
