Today on our Riviera Travel Dubrovnik & Southern Croatia yacht cruise turned out to be one of the most memorable days of the entire trip. After waking up in Split, we began the morning sailing across the beautiful Adriatic Sea towards the island of Hvar, stopping along the way for another incredible swim stop in a secluded bay. One of the biggest advantages of small ship cruising is the ability to anchor in hidden locations where you can jump straight from the yacht into crystal-clear water. Later in the day we arrived in the charming harbour town of Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in Croatia. After lunch onboard the yacht, we travelled across the island for a guided walking tour of Hvar Town, exploring historic streets, the famous harbour square, and learning why this destination is known as the sunniest place in Croatia. The day didn’t end there. Back in Stari Grad we enjoyed happy hour onboard, before heading out with our fellow passengers for dinner at a local waterfront restaurant, giving us a real taste of Croatian cuisine and island life.
