Cruise cabins can surprise first-time cruisers because they are usually much smaller than hotel rooms. However, cruise cabins are designed to use space efficiently and include built-in storage, closets, drawers, and space under the bed for suitcases.
Royal Caribbean cabins typically include a compact bathroom, a multi-purpose shampoo/body wash in the shower, a basic hair dryer, and a cooler that keeps drinks cool but is not a refrigerator. Two US and one European power outlet is usually located near the desk rather than in the bathroom or by the bed.
Understanding the different types of cruise cabins, including interior rooms, ocean view cabins, balcony cabins, and interior-facing balconies, can help travelers choose the best room for their cruise vacation.
If you want help planning what to bring and how to organize your cabin for the week, I’ve included it in my printable cruise checklist bundle linked in my bio. #cruisetips
