Arrival from the past.
Cunard's Classic Ocean Liner QE2 makes a
beautiful sight as she arrives at 6pm
in the late afternoon sunlight on
a warm Friday Afternoon on the
8th of February 1991 on her World Cruise.
She would stay overnight and sail to Brisbane
on Saturday the 9th of February.
It's great to see the beautiful lines of
Queen Elizabeth 2 with her long
distinctive bow.
The 1991 Cunard Cruise around
the World started I New York on the
5th of January and returning on the 9th
of April back in New York.
The next ports on this cruise were Brisbane,
Lae, New Guinea, Osaka, Hong Kong
She was originally to sail through the Suez Canal
on this voyage but due the war she had her
itinerary changed at the last minute to sail via Cape Town.
Sadly in the 90's the Videos were
analogue not the same
quality compared to digital.
