Exploring Split, Croatia ππ· and Valletta, Malta π²πΉ on a Mediterranean cruise aboard the elegant Queen Victoria with Cunard Line. In this cruise port day vlog, we discover ancient cities, iconic filming locations, and unforgettable moments β from the Game of Thrones Museum in Split to the famous cannon firing ceremony in Valletta.
Our day in Split began wandering through the historic Old Town, built within the walls of Diocletian's Palace β a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with narrow alleyways, ancient ruins, and vibrant local life. A highlight of the day was visiting the Game of Thrones Museum, where we stepped into the world of Westeros and relived scenes from one of our favourite series.
Next stop: Valletta, Malta. As we explored this stunning fortified city, we were surrounded by golden limestone buildings, rich history, and breathtaking views of the harbour. One of the most memorable moments was witnessing the traditional Saluting Battery Cannon Firing β a powerful and historic daily ritual that echoes across the Grand Harbour.
From exploring cobblestone streets to soaking in the culture and history of two incredible destinations, these port days were truly unforgettable.
We wrapped up each day sailing away into the horizon, with the Mediterranean sunset painting the sky β another perfect chapter in our Europe cruise adventure.
