About 12 months ago I had a bit of work done on the old girl. That included replacement turbo and turbo outlet silicon hose.
Since that date I had a little “chirp” which over time has progressively turned into this. It’s not as if I’ve ignored it.
The workshop that did the work said it was the auto. I drove the old girl to Melbourne and #wholesaleautomatics had it for a day and cleared the auto.
Apart from “checking the fuse” type issues I was chasing my tail. Then I decided to mount my rode Bluetooth microphone in the engine bay, at various locations.
This occurred after I replaced all the hose clamps in the cold side after the turbo.
I replaced 3 silicon hoses in the process.
I have ordered 1 more silicon hose, the turbo outlet hose. An elbow made of cast alloy bolts to the turbo outlet. The machined end is 47mm. The silicon hose fitted seemed to have an internal diameter of somewhere between 52-55mm.
Yes a very sloppy fit.
