In Part 2, join us as we arrive in Noumea, the capital city of the French Territory that is New Caledonia.
We take a HOHO (or hop on, hop off bus) through Noumea’s coastal waterfront, over to Lemon Bay and Anse Vata. Plus we indulge in some delicious local foods, and check out Duck Island (from afar!).
After a day on land, we return to the ship for our North Star reservation. The glass pod is elevated to around 100m above sea level, and gives you an incredibly unique perspective of both the ship and the surrounding landscape.
The final dress-up theme night is the Alphabet theme! Essentially, dress as anything you want! It’s up to everyone else to figure out which letter of the alphabet your costume begins with.
After main showtime with The Radiators, we enjoyed dinner and then a fantastic night of music and dancing with Switched On Band in Two70, one of the main show lounges and entertainment venues onboard.
The next day, we enjoyed watching one of the instructors in the iFly attraction - then had a relaxing few hours in the Solarium.
That night, we were excited to see SuperCruise headliner, Suzi Quatro, and the night did not disappoint.
Then it was time for dinner in Wonderland. The incredible restaurant is a unique dining venue, with the chefs creating perfectly delicious yet intriguing dishes, all presented in the most fantastic way. Everything at Wonderland is a show, and I highly recommend a visit there on your next Royal Caribbean cruise (assuming the restaurant is onboard of course…)
The final day of this week long cruise arrived, and we took the day to enjoy and absorb every minute of blue, sunny skies and sea that we could. A late lunch at Fish & Ships (the complimentary casual dining venue on the pool deck) made way for an evening spent in the adults only Solarium. We witnessed an incredible sunset and sun shower, and was an amazing way to end this week long cruise.
A final night of entertainment in the Music Hall was cut short by needing to pack, and then, the next morning, the ship arrived in Sydney Harbour once again. Berthing at Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal early in the morning, the cruise came to an end - just like that.
