Today we’re continuing our scenic cruising in Antarctica with a very meaningful stop near Elephant Island. This is the final day of our Antarctic scenic cruising, and it felt like the perfect place to pause, reflect, and truly take in what this voyage has meant. The captain carefully maneuvered Sapphire Princess near Point Wild, allowing us time to absorb the history, the wildlife, and the sheer presence of this place. We were surrounded by penguins, glaciers, and the kind of silence that makes you stop and reflect. I also want to share an important reminder: even without stepping off the ship, scenic cruising in Antarctica is a magnificent, irreplaceable experience. This journey exceeded expectations once again, and it stands on its own as something truly special. We’re grateful for the weather we had, the skill of the captain, and the chance to experience Antarctica in this way.
