Is Carnival Encounter Actually Bad? | Cruise Vlog Day 6!

Today we are docked alongside in Rabaul so it's time to experience some real tropical heat! Not only did we spend the day near an active volcano, but it got up to 33 degrees so the sweat was definitely pouring. Out of the limited shore excursion options, we decided to head off on the "Mask Festival on the Volcanic Ash Plains" tour. It was a lovely tour and I'm glad we got to do something cultural...but I can confidently say it wasn't worth the $210AUD each. The nightly entertainment was comedian/magician/illusionist Adam Dean and he was definitely worth staying up late for! An absolutely hilarious show and I can honestly say I couldn't even guess how he did 95% of those tricks.
