After what was a tough life lesson for me flying 1/2 way around the World to be denied boarding because of MY FAILURE to make sure I had a passport good for 6+ months from the end of travel, I discuss ways CARNIVAL could help cruisers save themselves from the heartache I experienced.
Ultimately it’s our responsibility to make sure we have all proper travel documents, and that they’re good…but as a well seasoned cruiser, even I made the mistake, so certainly newer cruisers could make the same or a similar mistake.
There were other things that were misleading by Carnival, that led me to stay in Australia and get an emergency passport that I believed would allow me to board the ship two days later. I was denied once again.
I discuss what steps Carnival may take to fix these problems so they don’t occur in the future
Carnival has been in contact with me @coachcruise and I’m informed Carnival’s “UPPER MANAGEMENT” Is going over my case to, I’m hoping, help future cruisers who make a similar mistake, get it corrected before it’s too late
