The cost of my interior cabin on the P&O Pacific Encounter
A three-night comedy cruise out of Brisbane, Australia.
I initially booked the cruise for $449 for two people with a $1 deposit per person, but the other person had also booked the same dates with a travel agent for $499 per person. I decided to let the $1 deposit booking fall over and just paid for the more expensive booking, which gave them a $50 onboard credit.
My travel insurance for approximately $82,
Carparking with Wilson's Car Parking for $52 (pre-booked),
Petrol budget $20
Onboard spending was different because I was traveling with a group of people. I bought more drinks and participated in activities such as bingo and gambling in the casino, which totalled approximately $400 in Australian dollars.
Overall, the total cost of the three-night cruise for Julie would have been around $1008 Australian dollars for an interior cabin on deck 12, cabin number 216.
I always believe that the cost of the cruise is worth it and cheaper than doing an activity on land.
