In exciting news overnight, Royal Caribbean announced that the Adventure of the Seas will embarking on a brand new season of 7 night voyages from her new home port of Nassau, the Bahamas. The week-long voyages will take the lucky guests to the surrounding islands, including a stop in Royal Caribbean's own Perfect Day CocoCay!
All guests over 18 years of age will need to be vaccinated and provide proof. Guests under 18 will need to provide proof of a negative test result.
Similar to Singapore sailings onboard Quantum of the Seas, Royal Caribbean will pay for onboard medical costs, land based quarantine and travel home in the event that a guest becomes ill with 'rona related health issues onboard. This extends to their travelling party and to any close contacts. As well, in cases like this, a full refund will be provided.
In more good news, Celebrity have announced in a similar vein, that the Celebrity Millennium will be based in St Maarten from June 5th. These cruises will likely run in a similar fashion to sister line, Royal Caribbean and I expect a similar set of protocols related to health and safety and the onboard experience.
More information about Celebrity's season will be released soon.
Thanks for watching!
