Welcome back to Day 8 of our Caribbean cruise aboard the Celebrity Reflection!
This is Part 2 of our full island tour of Saint Kitts, and today we’re exploring some of the most historic and breathtaking places on the island.
We start at Wingfield Estate, home to sugar plantation ruins, one of the region’s oldest rum distilleries, and the history of Old Road Rum dating back to 1681. Then we head to Romney Manor, once owned by Sam Jefferson, the great-great-great-grandfather of Thomas Jefferson, built in 1626.
Next, we explore the old aqueduct system, swing on rainforest vines with our guide, and visit the massive Saman Tree, over 400 years old and one of the largest in the Caribbean. We also stop at the beautiful Caribelle Batik boutique to see handcrafted batik fabric.
We end at the stunning Timothy Hill Overlook, with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other — one of the most iconic views in Saint Kitts. After returning to port, we shop, explore the market, and head back on board for lunch, movies, trivia, and a sunset finish to an incredible day.
Thank you for joining us on this adventure!
Tomorrow is Day 9 — a full day at sea, and we can’t wait to bring you along.
