Welcome back aboard Norwegian Viva! In this video, I’m taking you with me for a full Palomar review on Norwegian Viva, one of the specialty dining restaurants onboard. Palomar is a Mediterranean seafood restaurant on Norwegian’s Prima Class ships, and after hearing good things about it, I had to finally sit down and see if it was actually worth it.
For this meal, I tried the bread service, the Greek salad, the Mediterranean sea bass with saffron carrot purée, chickpeas, and jasmine rice, and the apple tart for dessert. And let me just say right now: that sea bass was the standout. It was easily one of the best things I ate on the entire cruise and absolutely a dish I would book another cruise just to have again.
I also share my honest thoughts on what worked, what didn’t, and what I’d recommend if you’re trying to decide whether Palomar on Norwegian Viva is worth using one of your specialty dining meals on. The salad wasn’t my favorite, but the sea bass and apple tart absolutely carried this meal.
