**Stick around for the end of the video to see the Disney Fantasy sail by while sounding her iconic horns!**
I was in Florida at just the right time and discovered that the Disney Adventure was docked in Port Canaveral. This video captures a rare first look at Disney Cruise Line’s newest mega ship before she officially enters service.
At the time of this video, the Disney Adventure is still pre-launch, sailing from Germany to Singapore, where she will homeport beginning in March 2026. Even before her maiden voyage, this ship is already turning heads due to her enormous size and scale. Once in service, the Disney Adventure will claim the title of largest cruise ship in Asia, redefining cruise travel from Singapore.
I was fortunate enough to witness Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas — the largest cruise ship in the world — sail away alongside the Disney Adventure, giving a true side-by-side size comparison. With a capacity of approximately 6,700 guests and nearly 2,800 crew members, the Disney Adventure is one of the largest cruise ships ever built.
As of this visit, 2,730 crew members are already onboard and will remain on the ship for extensive training leading up to her maiden voyage on March 10, 2026.
This video features close-up exterior footage of the Disney Adventure, offering an early preview of the ship’s design, layout, and potential onboard amenities. No interior footage has been released yet, and the ship has not sounded Disney Cruise Line’s iconic horn melodies, which are expected to debut during the christening ceremony and preview sailings.
If you’re a fan of Disney Cruise Line, mega cruise ships, or Port Canaveral ship spotting, this is a must-see first look at one of the most anticipated cruise ships in the world.
