Welcome to Moorea — the magical island of French Polynesia! 🌴✨ On this unforgettable day of our world cruise, we anchored just off the island and set out on an adventure that had it all. We took a tender ashore, then joined a boat excursion across the turquoise lagoon to a private motu (islet). Along the way we spotted sea turtles, kayakers, and crystal-clear reef life. Once we arrived, the fun really began — snorkelling with colourful tropical fish, gentle stingrays, and even black tip reef sharks! 🦈🐠 Midway through, we enjoyed a delicious barbecue lunch and a cold beer right by the water’s edge, complete with a traditional Polynesian coconut husking demonstration. It was the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. As the day came to a close, we returned to our ship, watching Moorea’s breathtaking coastline fade into the horizon — memories we’ll treasure forever.
